One Response to Work

  1. Been following your blog thru DCist, saw the 100 cocktails you must try, thought you might be interested in an event I’m hosting at Willow Restaurant in Ballston, Virginia–know Andrew Chriss might live in the neighborhood–not sure if either of you would want to check it out on March 18th next week. As the sommelier, i’ve been booking weekly food and wine pairing events for $35, but on the 18th, i have these these two older gentleman who are fanatics about the classic gin martini who started their own gig on the web called The Martini Institute: http://www.martiniscience.com. We have a cool line-up of miniature martinis to taste thru made from artisanal gins. the kicker is the education these two doctors supply of the history and science behind the original martini, The Martinez. Our Chef, Tracy O’Grady will be providing some hip (but delicate) food pairings. Call me if you might have an hour to spare, i think you would enjoy yourself!
