The Help the Homeless walk sponsored by Fannie Mae is November 17, starting at 9am on the Mall. It’s a really fun event, and quite enormous in its magnitude.
Just to give you a snapshot of the metro area in Fairfax/Falls Church almost half of all homeless adults in families are employed. Given the cost of living in this area, it makes total sense.
