Spoiled by My Husband Cooks

Two weeks ago I had dinner with the fine Husband and Wife from My Husband Cooks. And now my life has become more complicated since Husband introduced me to Hendrick’s Gin. Since the weather is warming up quite nicely, it’s been rather appropriate gin and tonic weather. So I went to the liquor store and purchased a bottle of Plymouth gin, which is about $15 less expensive than Hendrick’s. It was recommended by the folks at the store as a fine alternative, and well-spoken of by The New York Times.

Well smelling Hendrick’s there is a lovely floral and botanical scent. Husband also had Plymouth, and I remember it smelling quite similar to plain old rubbing alcohol. There is a reason why it is worth shelling out the extra $15. Plymouth tastes a heck of a lot more like rubbing alcohol. So next time if you order a gin and tonic, try and get it with Hendrick’s. It is seriously better.

As for the meal…
