Review: Arctic Monkeys

Saw Arctic Monkeys at 930 Club. Apparently Lance Armstrong was there too. I love the 930 Club as a venue. It's a pretty intimate place and we got a pretty good view of the band. I think because they're sort of a grassroots type of band, they don't really know how to play to the crowd. They said maybe ten words to the audience the entire time. The music was great, though I think that they demonstrated their newness by playing their most popular song second in the set. Most bands would reserve such a song for near the end or an encore. You can hear the concert on NPR, http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5293452

One final comment… damn… white people really cannot dance.
